Coach Mike Schafer has announced a 20-year-reunion for the 2003 Men’s Hockey team on February 17-18, 2023. “We will celebrating 20 years of the 2003 team that reached the Frozen Four and had one of the best years in Cornell Hockey history. We welcome all alumni to return to campus for this weekend and catch a couple of games and get reacquainted with former teammates. More details will be sent out in the coming weeks. I am excited that we are able to have a reunion for the first time since 2020.”
We are really looking forward to the season. I feel we will have an excellent team and they seem to be forming the tight bonds that every successful team needs. We will be announcing captains in the upcoming week. Our season will start with three tough weekends on the road with two games at Minnesota-Duluth, then starting league play against Clarkson – St. Lawrence, and Quinnipiac – Princeton. We have been on ice with the team for a couple hours a week and things have been going well.
